Lillie Powell Hardy

Reidsville: Lillie Powell Hardy, 86, a longtime resident of Highgrove Longterm Care, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Avante of Reidsville. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 2946 Narrow Gauge Rd. with Rev. Joey Pallino officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Mrs. Hardy was a native of Rockingham County and the daughter of the late, Henry and Ida Scott Powell. She was the owner of the Eden Health Care and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Dillard Hardy; her son, Randy Hundley; and her sister, Pat Crowder. Mrs. Hardy is survived by her granddaughter, Sarah Hundley Hall; nieces, Mary Moore Wilson and Donna Fuqua; and several great nieces and nephews.
