Ada Shough Watkins Wetmore

Reidsville: Ada Shough Watkins Wetmore, 88, of 141 Doe Drive, died on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Faith Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Mrs. Wetmore was born in Critz, VA to the late William Gibson Shough and Sallie Lou Martin Shough. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond “Rooster” Watkins and John Wetmore and a daughter, Shirley Vernon Frith. She is survived by her children, Raymond Watkins and wife, Annie, Betty Lou Joyce, Marie Hudson and husband, Jack, James Elbert Watkins and wife, Brenda, Walter Watkins and wife, Cathy, Danny Watkins and wife, Kathy, Bobby Watkins, Annie Marilene Shelton, Helen Lawrence and husband, Claude; 28 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; sister, Nannie Boles. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 9th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church. Other times the family will be at the residence.
