Aileen Williams Faucette

Brown Summit: Aileen Williams Faucette, Loving wife, caring mother, special sister and wise Granny, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October, 10, 2009 at the age of 70 at UNC Chapel Hill Memorial Hospital. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, 2:00PM at Monticello United Church of Christ with Rev. Gary Owens officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park. Aileen was born in 1939 in Robbins, NC, the daughter of the late Myra Blue Williams & Kenny "Watson" Williams. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Jerry, 2 daughters, Audra F Collis & husband, Randy Collis of Brown Summit, NC. Lisa F Brooks & husband, Roger of Elon, NC. Grandchildren, Cameron & Carly Collis & Hunter Brooks. Surviving sisters Ruby Coleman of Asheboro, NC & Margaret Fennell of Hope Mills, NC. Aileen was proceeded in death by her half siblings, Evelyn Baldwin, Thelma Wallace, Clarence Williams, Donnie Williams & Tracy Williams. Aileen was a graduate of Elise High School in Robbins, NC. She continued her education at Asheboro Commercial College. She worked for Moore, Gardner & Associates, Inc. for several years prior to beginning a family tobacco business alongside husband, Jerry for 41 years. Aileen was a member of Monticello United Church of Christ & served many years tenure as a Sunday School teacher. She also was Deaconess at the church. Aileen lived her life with devout faithfulness, unwavering commitment to family, friends & church community. She touched many lives with her humor & will forever be missed in the hearts of many. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 from 6- 8 pm at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at her residence, 7018 McLeansville Road, Brown Summit.
