Albert Charles Babin

Reidsville, NC –Albert Charles Babin, Jr.,70, of 9318 Cherry Grove Road, died Tuesday, December 2, 2008, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM , Saturday, December 6, 2008, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. John Wayne Smithey officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Babin was born in Shreveport, Louisana to the late Albert Charles and Nellie Babin. He was of the Baptist faith and loved fishing, antiques and going to flea markets. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death of a sister and 2 brothers. He is survived by daughters, Deanna Sutphin and fiance’ Michael Mason of Randleman; Kathy Berke of Austin, Texas and Lori Vait of Tecumseh, Ok.. several grandchildren and several great grandchildren; brother, Buck Morris and wife Maryann of Ga; sister, Helen Short of Plaqueman, La; the mother of his daughter, Deanna, Katherine Summerlin of Randleman; and special friend, Jerry Smithey of Reidsville. The family will receive friends on Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, from 7 to 8:30 at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
