Alma McGee Cross

Reidsville: Mrs. Alma McGee Cross, 85, of Reidsville, passed away on April 18th, 2017. A memorial service will be held at Noon on Friday, April 21st, 2017 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of her son, Dan Cross. Interment will be private in Reidlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Cross was born July 15th, 1931 in Caswell County to the late Edgar and Gladys Yeatts McGee. She was a member of Lowe’s United Methodist Church and was a volunteer at Penn Nursing Center and Annie Penn Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Harold W. Cross; her youngest sister, Betty Paige and her brother John McGee. Survivors include two sons, Ray Cross; Dan Cross and wife, Melissa; one daughter, Beth Cross Solseth and husband, Eddie; three grandsons, Alan, Josh and Jordan Cross; one sister, Mary Herndon; several nieces and nephews.
