Andrew Toler

Andrew “Andy” Toler, Jr., 62, went home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Friday, November 13, 2020, at 3:00pm with Dwayne Anders officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 2:00-3:00pm, burial will immediately follow the service at Reidlawn Cemetery.

Andy was born on October 23, 1958 in Rockingham County, to the late Andrew and Sue Toler. He worked for the NC Department of Transportation for many years and later worked for Cayton Towing as a Tow Truck Driver. Andy enjoyed helping family and friends with anything they needed. He was a kind and caring man who would “give the shirt off his back and throw in the buttons for free” to anyone in need. Andy loved working in his garden, riding his tractor’s, driving his tow trucks, and anything connected with farming. He will be remembered as a loyal friend, caring family man, and a hardworking man who will be missed by all who knew him.

Andy is survived by his son, Little Andy Toler; sister’s, Rachel Gibbs, Nancy King, Janet Krites; brothers, Charles Toler, Danny Toler, John Wayne Toler, Steve Toler, Ernest Toler; many close friends and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
