Anna Bell “Tiny” Peavy Grubbs, 83, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Caswell House.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00PM, on Friday, October 23, 2020, at Mayfield Missionary Baptist Church with Deacon Allen Wilson officiating. Ms. Anna will lie in state Thursday, October 22, 2020 for viewing.
Anna was born on December 15, 1936 in Fairfield County, SC to the late Luther P. Peavy and Anna Bell Warren Peavy. She retired from ZARN industries after over 30 years of service. She was the treasurer and longtime member of Mayfield Missionary Baptist Church. There was never any doubt in her family’s mind about how much she loved them. Most of all, she loved her Lord and Savior. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Herman Grubbs and son, Mark Grubbs; brothers, Frank Warren, Luther Jr. and Richard Peavy.
She is survived by her son, Kenny Grubbs and wife Karen; daughters, Vickie Chapmon and husband, Wesley, Sheila Jean Grubbs and Donna Mason and husband, Terry; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Martha Branham and Luvine Myers as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a loving extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County at P.O. Box 281, Wentworth NC 27375.
