Anne Dell McMichael Hardingham

Anne Dell McMichael Hardingham, 93, of Reidsville died Sunday March 27, 2022 at Hospice House of Rockingham County.  

A graveside service will be held Wednesday March 30 at Reidlawn Cemetery at 11:00 am.

As an interior decorator and avid gardener, Anne Dell made the world a more beautiful place, both inside and out.  Many homes, locally and nationwide, were enhanced by her knowledge and shared plants from her gardens.  Her love of dogs and proper grammar were legendary.  

Anne Dell was a longtime, faithful member of First Presbyterian Church of Reidsville where she served as an elder.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter Dillard McMichael, Sr and Annie “Lucile” Palmer McMichael; husband, David Edward Hardingham; son, Michael David Hardingham; and siblings, Peter Dillard McMichael, Jr and Lucile McMichael Fairchild.  Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and daughter, Priscilla Benson.
