Annie Mae Cooper Jones

Reidsville –Annie Mae Cooper Jones, 75, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, March 25, 2011 at Annie Penn Hospital.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Lakeview Memorial Park with Pastor Irish Dickerson and Pastor Fred Carter officiating.Mrs. Jones was born in Rockingham County to the late Dixie and Pauline Moore Cooper. She was of the Holiness faith and devoted member of Full Gospel Church where she loved the members very deeply. Annie was an avid reader and also retired from Burlington Industries with over 30 years of service. She enjoyed living life to the fullest and loved her family, most of all she had a special love for her only grandson, William. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rickie Nile Jones. Mrs. Jones is survived by her son, Dennis Ray Jones; daughter, Pamela Jones Higdon and husband, Mark; grandson, William Anthony Higdon all of Reidsville; brother, Carlton Lee Cooper, and wife, Mary Ann of Pelzer, SC and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends on March 26, 2011 from 6- 8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home of daughter, Pamela, 425 Chickasaw Drive, Reidsville.In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Jones’ honor to Full Gospel Church, 231 Narrow Gauge Road, Reidsville, North Carolina, 27320.
