Annie Lodena Corum

Ruffin – Annie “Lodena” Corum, 80, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Britthaven of Madison. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Maplelawn Baptist Church with Rev. Crawford Bradshaw officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Corum was born on November 30, 1930, to the late Jacob Yancey and Beulah Mae Younts Craven. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Maplelawn Baptist Church. Lodena loved her church and all of its members. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by beloved husband, Charlie Corum; and her sisters Doris Welch and Mary Elizabeth Bailey. Lodena is survived by her son, Kermit Lee Craven of Reidsville; brothers, Jacob Yancey Craven, Jr. and wife, Jean of Eden and James Craven and wife, Vernell of Reidsville; sister, Sarah Carter and husband, Warren of Eden and several special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence; 3668 Iron Works Road, Reidsville.
