Annie Roach Keever

Reidsville - Annie Roach Keever, 79, of 673 Cedar Lane, Reidsville, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 26, 2012 after a lengthy illness.Annie was born February 13, 1933 in Draper, NC to the late J.W. and Mary Roach. She worked at the American Tobacco Company then met her husband, John Gordon Keever of Granite Falls, NC and moved to Charlotte. A daughter was born, Kathy Keever Saunders. Years later they all returned to Reidsville. Annie was a beloved wife and mother. She was a very talented piano player who enjoyed music and singing. She loved her Lord and going to Freedom Baptist Church when she was well.Annie is preceded in death by her father and mother, J.W. and Mary Roach of Draper, her precious sister, Doris Gregory of Reidsville, her brothers, Thurman Roach of Eden, Melvin Roach of Charleston, SC and Carl Roach of Reidsville.Surviving is her husband of 57 years, John G. Keever; her daughter, Kathy K. Saunders, son-in-law, Clyde T. Saunders, granddaughter, Hannah E. Saunders all of Reidsville; her sweet brother, Ralph Roach of Eden. She had many cherished nieces and nephews; a very special niece, Stephanie London Lejano who was a great comfort and loving caregiver in her final days. Words cannot express our appreciation and love to Stephanie, Rosie Chrisco, Eddie Barker, Rick and Marie Gibson and also the staff at Hospice Home.The family will receive friends at her home Saturday, July 28th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.A graveside service will be held at Danview Cemetery in Eden, Sunday, July 29th at 2:00 PM with Rev.
