Annie Lea Nance Daniel

Reidsville, NC - Annie Lea Daniel, 87, of 806 Russell Avenue, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2010 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County. Memorial services will be held at 4 PM, Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Michelle Chappell officiating. The inurnment will follow in Greenview Cemetery. Mrs. Daniel was born in Rockingham County to the late William Alfred and Cora Carroll Nance. She was a homemaker and longtime member of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Daniel and her son, Roger W. Daniel. Mrs. Daniel is survived by her children, Stephen Daniel and wife, Jill of Reidsville and Julie Daniel and husband, Kevin King of Syracuse, NY; grandchildren, Ashley Daniel Brown, Austin Daniel, Will Daniel, Wright Daniel, Anna Hicks, Graham Daniel-King, Caroline Daniel and Alex Daniel; great grandchildren, Noah Daniel, Lleyton Daniel, Sadie Daniel, Sarah Katherine Brown, and Camryn Hicks; numerous nieces and nephews and her niece, Peggy James who graciously cared for her in her final months. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home Monday, August 15 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM and will be at the residence at Steve and Jill's home (1108 Arbor Lane). In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
