Annie Louise Somers

Reidsville: Annie Louise Somers went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Penn Nursing Center. Graveside services will be at Reidlawn Cemetery on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 11:00 AM with the Elder Harry Stanley officiating. There will be a one hour visitation prior to the service at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Louise was born November 19, 1923 to the late Nathaniel and Alvena Gooch in Rockingham County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elder Herbert “Polo” Somers and her son Herbert Polo Somers, Jr. (Mickey). Survivors are her loving caregivers, her niece, Sandra Bolden and husband David and her nephew, Dewey Pruitt. She is also survived by her other loving nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special thanks to everyone at Highgrove Long Term Care Center and Penn Nursing Center.
