Reidsville- Mrs. Annie Lee Williams Paschal, 92, of 272 Faucette Rd., passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014, at home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 22, 2014, at New Hope Primitive Baptist Church with Elder David Minter officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Paschal was born on March 11, 1922, in Rockingham County to the late Joseph Jefferson and Annie Elizabeth Thacker Williams. She married Bryant Odell Paschal on November 11, 1939 in Danville. She was a lifelong resident of Rockingham County and a member of New Hope Primitive Baptist Church. She enjoyed farming and gardening. She really loved to quilt and loved her cats very much. She was an excellent cook and shared her cooking with her friends and church family. She was a very gracious and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Paschal was preceded in death by her husband, her brothers, George, Walter and Joseph Williams, her sister, Louise Williams Knowles, a nephew, Lonnie and her son-in-law, Donald W. Soyars.
Survivors include her daughter, Eunice Paschal Soyars; grandchildren, Randy W. Soyars and wife Carla and Karen S. Garretson and husband Denzil; great granddaughter, Kayla N. Soyars and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 21, 2014, from 6-8 PM at New Hope Primitive Baptist Church and other times at the residence.
