Anthony “Tony” Bachman passed from this good, green earth early Sunday morning, March 16, 2025. If you knew him at all, you know Tony was a kind and compassionate man, who freely helped others. He was steadfast in his friendships and constant in his support. He was a loving husband and great partner in both the struggle and the sweetness we encountered on our life’s journey.
Music was part of Tony’s essential being. He loved playing his acoustic guitar and often crafted little ditties in his own unique style and then shared them with me at the end of the day. “He was the warmest chord I ever heard”, to quote Joni Mitchell, his favorite singer/songwriter. It was an incredible gift to have known him and to have been loved by him so completely. His love has left a permanent imprint on my soul and has given me the strength to meet the challenge of his loss.
As he was a private person, there will be no public service. What we ask is that in memory of Tony you show kindness to those in need. Fix a child’s bike, mow the lawn of an elderly neighbor, volunteer at an animal shelter or donate to a local food bank. There are a thousand kind acts just waiting to be done. We are here to make this world a better place and Tony did just that every day. He is deeply and dearly loved. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace dearest Tony. We are united forever in love and truth.
