Reidsville– Anthony Dodd Crowder, 42, of 3789 Iron Works Road, passed away, Thursday, August 13, 2009. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Aaron Withrow officiating. The entombment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.Dodd was born in Rockingham County. He was currently employed with Avery Dennison. He was an avid sportsman, especially fishing. Dodd was a loving husband, father and friend. He was the life of the party and always concerned for others, first. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Belle Paschal Crowder; his paternal grandparents, Joe and Virginia Crowder; his maternal grandparents, J.H. and Nettie Paschal; and his uncle, David Paschal.He is survived by his wife, Alecia Joyner Crowder and daughter, Taylor Alexandra Crowder of the home; his father, Jack Crowder and fiance’, LuAnne Payne of Reidsville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charlie and Linda Joyner; brother-in-law, Charles Joyner and wife, Angel; sister-in-law, Alison Barham and husband, Lane all of Reidsville; nieces and nephews, Clay and Maddie Joyner, Lexi and Gracie Barham; uncles, Joe Crowder and wife, Diane of Ruffin and Allen Crowder and wife, Leona of Reidsville; aunts, Polly Warren and husband, Wallace of Reidsville and Bobbie Paschal of Greensboro.The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, August 15 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
