Arlene Marks Davis

Reidsville: Arlene M. Davis, 76, went to be with her husband, Chuck July 11, 2014 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Robertson and her son, Richard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and the interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Davis was born in Bishopville, SC to the late, Walter and Ruth Grayson Marks. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. No matter what, she always put others before herself and used the moments of life to teach her two sons. She loved Roy, the cat to the very end. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Chuck Davis and her brother, Bob Marks. She is survived by her sons, Richard Davis of Reidsville and Walt Davis and wife, Tammy of Lewisville, NC; grandchildren, Dylan and Lee Davis; her brother, Jim Marks and wife, Betty of New Orleans and several nieces and nephews.
