Audrey Moore

Reidsville: Audrey Clifton Jarrell Moore, 88, of 121 Green Meadow Rd., passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at the Rockingham County Hospice Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 5, at 2:00 P.M, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Audrey was born in Rockingham County to the late Bronza Reid Clifton and Lula Mae Kennon Clifton. She loved to help people, always putting others before herself, embodying a good Christian life. She was a wonderful and caring mother always loyal to her family. In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Russell Moore, Jr.; sisters, Judith Allen and Lorene Walker; brothers, Ernest Lee Clifton and Oneil Clifton. She is survived by her sons, George Jarrell, Jr. and wife, Winnie, Garry Lee Jarrell, Sr. Charles Richard Jarrell, Sr. and wife, Linda, Timothy Wayne Moore and wife, Kimberly; daughter, Deloris Wallace and husband, David; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy, Robert, Larry and Randy Clifton; sisters, Geraldine Bowman and Dianne Hill. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on September 4, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. and other times at the home of Junior and Winnie Jarrell.
