Barbara Louise Evans

Reidsville – Barbara Louise Evans, 67, of 305 Broad Street, died on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at UNC Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 29, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Harmon officiating. The burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Barbara was born in Boydton, Virginia to the late Robert and Mamie Layne Evans and was a retiree of Golden Belt. She was a wonderful mom and loved her grandchildren dearly. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Belmany; brothers, Robert, Marshall and Alfred Evans. Survivors include her son, Kenneth Lee Julian, Jr. and wife, Lynne; daughters, Angela Slaughter and husband, Barry and Michelle Holt and husband, Tommy; grandchildren, Valerie Fagg and husband, Patrick, Paige and Lizzie Julian, Ashley, Chelsea and Chastity Slaughter, Jessica Rash and Kayleigh Ross; six great grandchildren; brother, Bruce Evans and wife, Carolyn; sisters, Helen Tucker and husband, Arnold, Rosa Jones, Sarah Neimeth; sister-in-law, Louise Evans; numerous loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 28, at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and other times at the residence.
