Barbara Wilson Harris

Reidsville: Barbara Wilson Harris, 55, of 1622 Brooks Road, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, January 22, 2010 at Annie Penn Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Monday, January 25, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Clayton and Rev. Garfield Doss officiating. The burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Barbara was born in Rockingham County to Mattie Rebecca Baynes Wilson and the late Ernest Cecil Wilson. She was a former employee of Frito Lay and Terminix and attended Covington Wesleyan Church.She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Harris of the home; son, Keith Harris and wife, Amy; daughter, Jennifer “Nikki” Harris and boyfriend, Bryant Jarrell; grandchildren, Lee Harris, Rebekaha and Markyse Jarrell; mother, Becky Wilson; sister, Marie Talbott and husband, Richard all of Reidsville; sister-in-law, Brenda Medina of Lexington; three nieces; three nephews; many special friends and her dogs, Ralph and Sassy and the late Lucky.The family will receive friends, Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home.Special thanks are given to the staff of Annie Penn Hospital, Dr. Hawkins and to Pastor Clayton and Richard Talbott for the care and concern given to Barbara during her time of illness.
