Barbara Hodges Massey

Reidsville: Barbara Hodges Massey, 63, of 1013 Barnes Street, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Loftis and Rev. Tommy Puryear officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Barbara was born in Rockingham County to the late Otha Hoges, Sr. and Hazel Dickerson Hodges. She was a Cosmetology Instructor and a member of Pleasant View Assembly of God. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Reeves and brother, Daryl Hodges. Survivors include her husband Donny Massey; daughters, Michelle Witt and husband, Jerry and Chrystal Massey; son, Brandon Massey; grandchildren, Aaron Joines and wife, Alicia, Howie Knowles, Macy Knowles, Seth Massey and Logan Massey; brother, Otha “Rusty” Hodges, Jr. and wife, Lannette and mother-in-law, Carrie Massey. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, January 5, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
