Barbara Lane Shelton Webster

eidsville: Barbara Lane Shelton Webster, 75, of 490 Salem Church Road, died on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at Annie Penn Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, April 12, 2010 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Duke officiating. The interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery.Mrs. Webster was born in Rockingham County to the late James Robert Shelton and Estelle Strader Shelton Whitlock. Mrs. Webster was a homemaker and found her greatest joy surrounded by her family. She remembered every occasion in the life of her family and found peace in her strong faith. Her sweet spirit and sense of humor brightened every holiday. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Along with her parents, Mrs. Webster was also preceded in death by her brothers, Ray and Gene Shelton.She is survived by her husband, James Pleasant Webster of the home; her children, Angela B. Foreman and husband, Ron of Southern Pines, NC, Diane B. Smith and husband, Clark of Raleigh, NC and James Timothy Bolden and wife, Teresa of Ruffin, NC; grandchildren, Ryan Foreman, Catherine Smith, Clark Smith, Shannon Campeau and husband, Chris, Martha Gail Bolden and Timmy Bolden; great grandson, Christopher Campeau, Jr.; brothers, Hal Shelton and wife, Irene of Madison, NC and Mike Shelton and wife, Faith of Reidsville; sisters, Martha Hankins and husband, Pete and Sandra Craig and husband, David all of Reidsville; numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of the Penn Nursing Center for their care and consideration of Mrs. Webster as well as her family and friends.The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Sunday, April 11th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Other times the family will be at the residence.
