Barbara Sedner Templeton

Reidsville: Barbara Sedner Templeton, 80, died on Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at Hospice of Rockingham County. A memorial service will be held at 9:30 AM on Friday, February 20, 2009 at Wilkerson Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Bob Templeton officiating. Mrs. Templeton was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Neal and Agnes McManus Sedner. She was a member of Leaksville Christian Church and was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hainey Templeton. She is survived by her sons, Bob Templeton and wife, Loretta, of Reidsville, Art Templeton and wife, Dotti, of NY, Bart Templeton and wife, Donna of NY; daughters, Mary Ellen Ramos and husband, Richard of VA, Cathy Gieber and husband, David of Reidsville; grandchildren, Robert Templeton and wife, Angela, Michael Templeton and wife, Shannon, Matthew Templeton and significant other, Emmy, Carissa “Kissy” Tondorf and husband, Kurt, Evan Templeton and fiancée, Elizabeth, B. J. Templeton and fiancée, Erica, Stephen Templeton and Jackie Templeton, Rich Ramos and wife, Angela, Christopher Ramos, Danielle Gieber and Andrew Gieber; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Hayden Templeton. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Thursday, February 19, 2009 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Other times the family will be at the residence of Cathy Gieber, 9764 Highway 87, Reidsville, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4 A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407 or Cancer Center, Morehead Memorial Hospital, 516 Van Buren Road, Eden, NC 27288.
