PELHAM-Mr. Barry Clint Southard, 66, of Pelham, passed away on Wednesday, January 8th, 2014 at his home. Barry was born on July 4th, 1947 in Rockingham County to William Paul and Myrtle Southard. He was a retired carpenter and of the Baptist faith. He was a beloved husband, daddy and Papa. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Southard. Barry is survived by his wife, Milly Southard of the home; two sons: Greg Underwood and wife Melissa and Brad Underwood and wife Katina, both of Pelham; one daughter: Tina Southard Sebastian of Reidsville; six grandchildren: Josh Waldrop, Elijah Waldrop, Harley Underwood, Logan Sebastian, Austin Underwood, Cameron Underwood; mother: Myrtle Kernodle of Reidsville; step-mother: Mary Jane Southard; four brothers: Wayne Southard, Roger Southard, Larry Southard, all of Pelham; Mike Kernodle of Reidsville; two sisters: Ethel Mitchell of Reidsville and Debbie Deal of Archdale; Numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 11th, 2014 at two o’clock at Lively Stone Baptist Church in Pelham. Pastors Kenneth Hammock and Michael Kent will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from six until eight o’clock at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Reidsville.
