Beatrice Sharpe Mayhew

Reidsville: Beatrice Sharpe Mayhew, 84, of Carolina House and formerly of 1277 NC 65, died on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Annie Penn Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P M, Thursday, December 11, 2008 at Evergreen Memory Gardens, with Rev. Gene Davis officiating. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Carolina Apothecary and was of Baptist faith. Along with her parents, Fredrick and Nancy Brame Sharpe, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Douglas Mayhew, three brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Judy Mayhew Moore; grandchildren, Candace O’Briant and husband, Jason of Reidsville, April Fox and husband, Dan of Timmonsville; five great-grandchildren and sister, Gladys Strader of Reidsville. The family will receive friends after the service at the home of Judy Moore, 1267 NC 65, Reidsville, NC.
