Bernie Dean Ratliff

Bernie Dean Ratliff, 73, of Rockingham County, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 30, 2025.

A graveside interment will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens on Thursday, April 3, at 2:00 PM.

The family will host a private celebration of life on Thursday, April 3, 2025. The family can be contacted for details.

Bernie loved music. He was an electrician with Duke Energy and had a small appliance business for many years.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, his son Byron Todd Ratliff, his brother Dennis Ratliff, and several other siblings.

Bernie is survived by his son, Brock Ratliff; his grandchildren, Serena Ratliff, Sierra Ratliff, and Franklin Ratliff; his sister, Sara Hopper; and his brothers, Ernie Ratliff and Marshall Ratliff.
