Reidsville: Bessie Lee Lynch Ledbetter, 86, passed into the presence of her Lord on Sunday, June 15, 2014.
A funeral service will be held in her memory on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at eleven o’clock at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Eldridge officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Bessie Ledbetter was born in Rockingham County to the late James and Minnie Fowler Lynch. She was a member of the First Assembly of God and retired after many years of service from P. Lorillard. One of her favorite places was the beach. She loved fishing and playing putt-putt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Dockery, Sr. and Harry T. Ledbetter, a son, Randy Howard Dockery, a sister, Maude Washburn, and a brother, William “Bill” Lynch; and a grandson, Holden T. Ledbetter.
She is survived by her sons, Jack Dockery of Waxhaw, Taylor Ledbetter and wife, Gina, of Reidsville; daughter, Gloria Still of Madison; grandchildren, Robert Still, Jr., Jason T. Still, Jonathan and Clint Dockery, Randy Dockery, Jr., Tammy Turner, Cheri Setliff, Jordan Ledbetter; great-grandchildren, David Scott Dockery, Savannah and Chesley Turner, Amber Still and Christy Setliff, Lauren Setliff, Hunter Dockery, Logan Dockery, Summer Dockery; sister, Pearline Barham, and step-grandchildren, Austin and Cameron May, Steven,Randy and Catlin Davision.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Wilkerson Funeral Home, from 6-8 PM and other times at the residence.
