Browns Summit – Beth Hurd Sipe, 52, of 2902 Spencers Grove Road, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2010 at her home.Memorial services will be held at 11 AM, Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. J. R. Gossett and the Rev. Carl Shelton officiating. A visitation will follow the service in the Browns Summit United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.Beth was born in Roanoke, Virginia to Nancy Saunders Hurd and the late William Clay Hurd. She was formerly employed as a nurse with Greensboro Medical and was a member of Browns Summit United Methodist Church.Survivors include her husband, Donald Sipe; daughter, Megan Sipe; Beth’s special angel, Brianna Bentley; mother, Nancy Hurd; brother, Michael Hurd and wife, Barbara; sister, Tammy Collins and husband, Jerry; mother-in-law, Dora Sipe; brother-in-law, Garry Sipe and wife, Kathy; nephews, John Michael Hurd, Andy Hurd and Dean Overby ; great nephew, Chance Overby.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, North Carolina 27405.
