Betty Jane Dickison Gallant

Betty Jane Dickison Gallant, 91, went home to be with her Lord and Savor on Monday, April 15, 2019 at her residence, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Tripp Kimbrough officiating. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Betty was born in Indianapolis, Ind. to the late Irvin Dickison and Josephine Dickison, moving to Reidsville, NC in 1985. She was a homemaker and a member of Lowes United Methodist Church. Betty was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed trips to the beach and time with family and friends. She also had a love for her two cats, Charlie and Rosie, and was an avid Duke basketball fan. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her cousins, Mary Ellen and Fred Pereau, and her great grandson, Abel Gallant. She is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years James; daughter, Tina Gallant Sax; sons, Rick and his wife, Rose and Randal Gallant; her six grandchildren; her twelve great grandchildren; her brother, George Dickison and wife, Gretchen.
