Reidsville - Betty Anders Witty, 70, of 810 Lawndale Drive Apt 101-A, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 4, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family.Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, June 8, 2012 at The Church of God, Walker Street Ext. with Rev. Allen Anders officiating. The burial will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens.Mrs. Witty was born in Grayson County, VA to the late, Clarence and Ether Lowe Anders. She was a member of The Church of God, 807 Walker Street Ext. Betty was faithful to her Lord for many years and was a Sunday school teacher. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and mother-in-law that enjoyed spending quality time with her family. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Clyde, Dickie and Donald Anders.She is survived by her beloved husband, Troy, that was her caregiver for the last eight years; children, James Troy Witty, Jr. and wife, Jennifer of Stokesdale, Rachel Dawn Silvers and husband, Michael, Lee Ann Witty, Stephen Patrick Witty and wife, Amy, Jonathan Mark Witty and friend, Terry Eller all of Reidsville; grandchildren, Kim and husband, Phillip, Michael Lee, Cody, Abby, Makayla, Caleb, Andrew, Jonas; great-grandchildren, Alex and Aubrey, brothers, Allen Anders, and wife Bonnie of Reidsville, Harvey Anders and wife, Cindy of TN, Jeffery Anders and wife, T.C. of Reidsville, Delores Pulliam and husband, Vernon of VA, and Deborah Perkins and husband, Danny of Reidsville.The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 7, 2012 at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
