Beulah Mae Adkins Warf, 90, went home to be with The Lord on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Jacobs Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, February 8, 2019 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Bray and Pastor Marvin Bowman officiating. The burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at Johnny’s home (840 Walker Street).
Mrs. Warf was born in Pittsylvania County, VA to the late, Tom and Texanna Dalton Adkins. She was a former member of Faith Baptist Church and most recently a faithful member of Rock of Ages Baptist Church. She was employed with the American Tobacco Company and later retired from the Rockingham County Schools where she served in the cafeteria for many years. She was known for her peanut butter bars throughout the county. She loved studying the Bible and cooking for her family. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Tony John Warf, Sr.; her son, Malcolm E. “Mike” Warf; her granddaughter, Robin Reynolds; and nine brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, Tony J. “Johnny” Warf, Jr., and wife, Brenda, Shirley Warf Campbell, and husband, Herbert, and Lowanda Warf Singleton all of Reidsville; grandchildren, Leigh Ann Shepherd and husband, John, Eugene Campbell and wife, Ana, Wesley Campbell, Sharon Campbell Knight and husband, Tim, Tina Warf Sawyers and husband, Jason, Michael Warf and wife, Jennifer, Jamie Bayne and wife, Michelle, Billy Singleton, Jr., and wife, Amanda, Lisa Singleton Asbill and husband, Jason, Stephanie Singleton Jarrett and husband, Kaleb; 25 great grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; and her brother, Henry Adkins.
