Beulah was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family. Beulah loved her Savior with all her heart, and she loved God’s Word. Though she was a quiet, humble, gentle woman, she was nonetheless a powerful prayer warrior and only heaven knows what a wonderful and eternal impact all her many years of faithful praying have had on her family, her friends, and the world around her. She was a faithful member of Brown Summit Baptist Church, where she loved those around her, testified amongst her brothers and sisters in Christ, and praised her Jesus religiously. Those who knew her are blessed indeed.
Beulah was preceded in death by her father Wallace Boyd Cox and mother Beulah Texas Hutchens Cox; husband Everette L. Bibee (deceased 1960); husband Bennie Lovelace; children Everette Ray Bibee and Bennie Dave Lovelace; grandchildren Kathryn Bibee, Larry Cobb Jr., Andrew Lovelace, and her loving sisters and brothers.
She leaves behind her daughters, Terresa B. Cobb, (Larry), Cherrie L. Madren (Joel); grandchildren, Raymond Barker, Misty Travis (Mike), Alisha Wilson (Bobby), Ray Bibee (Cynthia), Jeannie Bibee (Drew), Stephanie Madren Knight, Alex Lovelace (Amanda), Ryan Madren (Karlie); great-grandchildren, Amber Travis (Taylor), Hunter Travis (Lauren), Gabriel Cobb, Rebecca Barker, Makynli Wilson, Adalyn Knight, Abbie Brumfield, Braylon Knight, Maci Wilson, Charlie Boles, Isabella White, Bryson Lovelace, Ryleigh Bibee, Kayce Madren; and one unborn great-great-granddaughter; daughter-in-law, Ann Bibee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special appreciation to Beulah’s great-niece, Michelle Richards who was a special caregiver to her in her last year of life. She loved and appreciated her gentleness and kindness during her final days.
Stretched across 90 years of life she had her own collection of memories and years of selfless sacrifice that she sowed into the lives of others. Since birth, she was a rare gift, she was given a disability which most would use as an excuse to be dismissed from any type of work. She raised 4 children, worked full-time, and never let her disability slow her down. She was the matriarch of our family and the glue that held us all together and we will forever hold her memory in our hearts.
Proverbs 3:13-18 says, "Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her."
