Beverly Pike

Reidsville: Beverly Mae Pike, 67, of 562 Country View Drive, Winston Salem, passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with Pastor Tom Worley officiating. Beverly was born in Rockingham County to the late Edward Benjamin and Hattie White Pike. She was a homemaker and attended Cross Roads Baptist Church. She was an avid Duke basketball fan, a wonderful cook and a loving mother, grandmother and a special friend to many. Survivors include her daughter, Angela Vernon Gonzalez and husband, Jorge; son, Michael Todd Vernon and wife, Keri; grandchildren, Jordan Lee Vernon, Selina Danielle Vernon, Gabriella Christina Gonzalez, Joshua Hamilton and Jacob Hamilton; brothers, Lincoln Pike, Phillip Pike and wife, Becky and sister, Mickey Moore; special nieces, Pat Cardwell, Kim Berry and Liz Dawkins and lifelong friend, Patricia “Patsy” Waynick.
