Billy Gay Stanley

Billy “Buster” G. Stanley, 60, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2021 surrounded by his loving wife and daughter.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Evergreen Memory Gardens at 11 a.m.

Billy was born in Rockingham County to the late Billy Stanley and Geraldine Halbrook Stanley Marks. He retired after 32 years of service with Annie Penn Hospital. He could fix anything and knew every nook and cranny of Annie Penn. Billy enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and traveling but most of all he loved spending time with his family; especially his “grandbabies”, “Beany Beany” and “Johnny Man”. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sandra Craddock Stanley; daughter, Tiffany Dickerson and husband, Jake; grandchildren, Jillian and Jonathan “Johnny” Dickerson; step-father, Walter Marks; brothers, Jerry Stanley and wife Judy, Jimmy Stanley and Rusty Stanley; sister-in-law, Christine Wright; brother-in-law, Larry Craddock and wife, Kim along with numerous nieces and nephews; son, Billy Stanley and wife, Ashley, along with three grandchildren and a large and loving extended family.
