Billy Clinton Sutton

Billy Clinton Sutton, 79, of Reidsville went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 after a courageous fight with cancer. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Kent officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Billy was born in Rockingham County to the late Ramsey and Mollie Jordan Sutton.  He loved woodworking and baseball and in earlier years, watching his son play baseball.  He retired from Burlington Industries after 34 years of service and was a member of Lively Stones Baptist Church.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Don Sutton of Reidsville.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Sutton; son, Carl “Clint” Sutton (Peggy), sister, Mary Lee Anderson; brothers, David Sutton (Sara) and Allen Sutton; grandchildren, Michael Sutton and Amanda Hoag (Justin); great-grandchildren, Destiny, Gracie, Bryleigh and Aaron; former spouse and friend, Vickie Sutton (mother of his son) .  He also left behind many precious family members, church family and many friends.
