Bobbie Jean Griffin Frazier Hunt

Reidsville: Mrs. Bobbie Jean Griffin Frazier Hunt, 67, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, August 20th, 2014 in Martinsville Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Hunt was born on May 26th, 1947 to the late Thomas Leonard and Margaret Louise Hutchens Griffin. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandparents, Thomas and Clara Griffin, maternal grandparents, Roy and Sudie Hutchens, husbands, James Frazier and Edward V. Hunt, III, her step-daughter, Kathy Byrd, brother-in-law, Glen A. Wilson, and nephew, Jamie Durham. Survivors include two sisters, Linda G. Wilson; Kay Durham and husband James, all of Reidsville; three step-children: Edward Vincent Hunt, IV, and fiancé, Mary Catherine; Scott Hunt and wife Tina; Melody Shockley and husband, Tim; step son-in-law, Bernard Byrd; numerous step grand children and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4:30 PM on Saturday, August 23rd, 2014 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Rev. C. Allen Myers will officiate. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 3:30 PM.
