Bobby Franklin Owens

Bobby Franklin Owens, 73, of Kernersville, NC passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 25, 2020 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Apple’s Chapel Christian Church. Bobby was born in Forsyth County, NC and had lived in Browns Summit, NC most of his life. He worked for Burlington Industries for more than 20 years and retired from CarQuest in Greensboro. He enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Brenda “Bunnie” Chrismon Owens. He is survived by his children, Lisa Hitchcock and husband, Ed of Oak Island, NC, Mark Owens and wife, Lynn of Beaufort, NC, Jesse Owens and wife, Tina of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren, Adam Plummer, Amanda Linn, Allen Owens, Phillip Owens, Brittani Owens, Courtney Hall and Dale Owens; great grandchildren, Bradley Watkins, Addison, Chace and Dallas Plummer, Kirstin and Zach Linn, Nalon, Robert and Carter Hensley, Ayden and Joshua Linn, Cooper Owens and Ke’Lani Freeman.
