Bobby Alton Shelton

Bobby Alton Shelton, Sr., 85, of Reidsville passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 9, 2019 at Reidlawn Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie Warner officiating. Bobby was born in Rockingham County to the late Beverly S. Shelton and Haily Tucker Shelton. He retired from Western Electric Company and was a member of Freedom Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Freda Belmany Shelton; daughter, Susan D. Stephens; brother, B.S. Shelton, Jr.; sisters, Bessie Copher, Rachel Melton, Marjorie Rusk, and Susan Coggin. He is survived by a son, Bobby Alton Shelton, Jr.; daughter, Lorrie Kim Shelton; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Daniel Shelton.
