Bobby Ray Stanley

Reidsville – Bobby Ray Stanley, 69, of 190 Mizpah Church Road, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Annie Penn Hospital. Funeral services will be held 3:30 PM Monday, October19, 2009 at Wilkerson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Bobby was born in Rockingham County to the late Joe and Minnie Stanley and was the owner and operator of Stanley Welding & Sandblasting for over 40 years. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and golfing. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Joe Edward, Bill and Mac Stanley; sister, Mary Alice S. Barrett. Survivors include his wife, Rachel Greene Stanley of the home; children, Danny R. Stanley and wife, Joyce H. Stanley, Kathy Stanley Lilly and husband, Rick Lilly, Sandra S. Brooks and husband, Noel A. Brooks, Sr., Randy D. Stanley and wife, Melissa W. Stanley, Richard E. Stanley and wife, Renee D. Stanley and Bobby R. Stanley, Jr. and girlfriend, Gabbi Odeh; grandchildren, Noel A. Brooks, Jr. and wife, Madonna, Stephanie S. Fuqua and husband, Paul Fuqua, Jr. all of Reidsville, Danielle R. Stanley of Lillington, NC, Cody E. Brooks, Darren Stanley, Jessica A. Lilly, Ryan M. Stanley, Allison R. Stanley, Stacie D. Stanley, Alex R. Stanley and Caroline R. Stanley; great grandchildren, Kaylee A. Brooks and Paul Fuqua, III; brothers, Jack Stanley and wife, Joyce D. Stanley all of Reidsville and George Stanley and wife, Nancy Stanley of Archdale, NC; sister-in-law, Betty G. Harrelson and husband, Harry L. Harrelson. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Sunday, October 18 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and other times at the residence.
