Bobby Wayne Farmer

Bobby Wayne Farmer, 78, of 1202 Gunn Street, Apt. 1E, went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the residence. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Allen Myers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Bobby was born in Rockingham County to the late, Arthur and Ethel Beasley Farmer. He worked as a fixer and was retired from Fieldcrest. He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman. He especially enjoyed his time with his rabbit dogs. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Buddy Farmer, Bo Farmer, Alvis Farmer and Billy Farmer; his sisters, Catherine Huskey and Jeanette Cline. He is survived by his sons, Bobby K. Farmer and wife, Cynthia and Shannon D. Farmer and wife, Sharon all of Reidsville; his grandchildren, Caroline, Ariel and Elijah; his sisters, Peggy Johnson and Frances Walker both of Reidsville and a large extended family.
