Eden: Bonnie Gail Rector Campbell, 58, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 23, 2016, at Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church (Ashland Road, Reidsville) with Rev. Billy Harmon officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 6:00 till 8:00 PM at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
Bonnie was born on June 12, 1958, in Rockingham County. She was a member of The Rock Church on Barnes Street. She was a very loving and giving person as shown through her church work as a Sunday School teacher, youth leader and being a foster parent. She obtained her Associate degree in Criminal Justice from Rockingham Community College. She was employed by Henniges Automotive as a supervisor. Bonnie devoted her life to Christ and was an inspiration to all she met, especially her family and coworkers.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Ernest Rector.
Bonnie is survived by her sons, Reuben Stanley Campbell, Jr. and wife, Melissa and Gary Lee Campbell and wife, Jessica; daughter, Beth Crabtree and husband, Brad; her mother, Irene Rector; grandchildren: Kayla Campbell, Hailey Dowless, Seth Campbell, Caleb Campbell, Breanna Campbell, Mason Sams, Mallory Sams, Cameron Crabtree, Riley Crabtree and Parker Crabtree; great grandchildren: Brooklyn Richardson, Cora Richardson and Luke Dowless; brothers: Cecil Rector, Jr. and wife, Kathy, Danny Rector, Lee Rector, and Jeffery Rector and wife, Barbara; sisters: Sue Fargis and husband, Doug, Teresa Harmon and husband, Billy and Jessica Rector; and many special nieces and nephews. A special thank you is extended to Bonnie’s, Henniges Automotive family for all your love and support.
