Bonnie Esther Wray Todd

Bonnie Esther Wray Todd, 88 passed away peacefully at her home on March 5, 2024.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastors Joshua Wilkerson, Amy Wilkerson and Debbie Durham officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The internment will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Colorado at a later date.

Bonnie was born in Rockingham County to the late John Smith Wray and Annie Frances Lillard. She loved animals, flowers, gardening, and her artwork. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and to the mountains, especially Colorado. She was the family photographer and always took tons of pictures. Bonnie was a long-term member of Draper Pentecostal Holiness Church but recently attended Life Church of Reidsville. She was always deeply involved in children’s ministry. She had a real zest for life. Most of all she loved her family.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Jesse Harold Todd; sister, Elizabeth Wray Smith; brother in laws, Randy Smith, Samuel Jack Handy; and daughter in law, Patricia Stason Todd.

She is survived by her only son, Jonathan Harold Todd and wife, Tammy; grandchildren, Amy Ferrell Wilkerson and husband, Joshua, Elizabeth Madison Ferrell, great grandchildren, Ezra Brooks Wilkerson and Ava Grace Wilkerson; sister, Sylvia Wray Handy; brother in law, Jason Todd; special nieces and nephews, Randola and husband, Mike Odil, Janelle and husband, Tom Ardnt, Kent and wife, Paula Smith along with numerous great nieces and nephews as well as special feline companion, Sweet Pea.
