Bonnie Lookabill Williams

Bonnie Lookabill Williams, 71, of Reidsville went home to celebrate with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 17, 2022.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Reidsville with Dr. Steve Tucker officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. 

Bonnie was born and raised in Davidson County, NC  to the late Gilbert Charles and Louise Beck Lookabill.  She had a great love for music and started piano lessons at a very young age with the encouragement of her father.  She taught herself to play hymns and began playing in a small church at age 12 and continued to play in the church until age 60.  Bonnie had a very strong faith in God that she shared with others and discovered at the age of 12 her favorite bible verse, Philippians 4:13.  She was a longtime member at Carolina Memorial Baptist Church in Thomasville, and after relocating became a member at Altamahaw Baptist Church in Elon.  She worked for many years as an administrative assistant in the printing and furniture industries.

She was married to the love of her life, Michael Dale Williams for 48 years and devoted herself to caring for him until his passing.  She had a God given gift of selflessly caring for others as she demonstrated God’s love to those she came in contact with throughout her life. 

She is survived by her children, Nathan Williams and favorite daughter-in-law, Jessica, Hope Williams and fiancé, David Martin; grandchildren, Landon and Lauren Williams and Jarrett “Boo Boo” Church.
