Boyd Arnold Ray

Boyd Arnold Ray, 84, of Reidsville went home to be with the Lord on January 13, 2021. A graveside funeral service will be held at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 11 AM with Rev. Ronnie Warner officiating. Boyd was born in Guilford County to the late Harry Bradford Ray Sr. and Grace Lee Coe Ray. He retired as rural mail carrier with over 30 years of service with the US Postal service. He served in the United States Air Force. Boyd was a faithful member of Freedom Baptist Church. He enjoyed serving the seniors in his community by bringing them his hand baked goods. Most of all he loved his family. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include his son, Todd Arnold Ray and wife, Wendy; granddaughter, Caroline Hope Ray; son, Cory Boyd Ray; granddaughters, Maegan Lorraine Ray and Jaden Davis Ray; grandson, Brennan Lane Ray; mother of their children, Janice London Ray, along with a loving extended family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Freedom Baptist Church at 471 Stone Road Reidsville, NC 27320.
