Reidsville: Brenda Jerrell Witty, 70, of Reidsville, NC went home to be with her Heavenly Father and beloved husband, Charlie W. Witty on December 2, 2017. The funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Junior Kennon and Pastor Burl McMillion officiating. Interment will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Witty was born March 22, 1947. She was the daughter of Willie Jerrell, Jr.(deceased) and Doris L. Pillar, Stepmother, Betty Jerrell. She was retired from Bob Adams Florist. She was saved by God’s Grace on Oct. 29, 1972. She was a true woman of God, who was always wanting to help and do as much for her Savior, family and church as she could. She was a faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she was treasurer/secretary, youth director and singer. She is survived by her children, Vanessa Foley, Laurie Richards and husband, Lynn, Venise Goins & husband, Tommy, Samantha Holder and husband, Alexander and Christopher Witty; grandchildren, Matthew Hicks, Russell Foley, Joshua Smith and wife, Rachel, Kayla Richards, Jonathan Richards, Amber Bray, Alexis Goins, Daisy Goins, Victoria Clark, Breanna Clark, Lauren Clark, Alexis Holder and Jacob Holder; great grandsons, Kaiden Bray and Nolan Smith; mother, Doris Pilar; stepmother Betty Jerrell; sister, Kimberly Collins and husband, Steve; brothers, Donnie Jerrell and wife, Bonnie, Wayne Jerrell and wife, Jenny and Michael Jerrell and wife, Beth. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Sunday, December 3, 2017 and other times at the residence, 2402 Pine Lane, Reidsville, NC.
