Brenda Harris Medina

Reidsville – Brenda Harris Medina, 63, of Lexington Health Care Center, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ralph Clayton and Rev. Dwayne Anders officiating.. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1-2 PM. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Brenda was born in Rockingham County to the late Leonard “Bill” Harris and Viola Harrelson Harris and was a former employee of Rockingham County Opportunity Center. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Everette Wray, Jr. and her sister, Janice Wray. Survivors include her daughters, MaryAnn Yerkes and Mandi Wray and husband, Gabby; step daughter, Myra Miller; grandchildren, Cody Yerkes and Shawn Williams; brother, Ronnie Harris and wife, Jean and special friend, Shirley Goodrum. At other times the family will be at the home of her brother, Ronnie Harris, 1622 Brooks Road, Reidsville. The family would like to thank the staff of Lexington Health Care Center, Hospice of Davidson County and to nurse, Peggy Stanton for the love and care given to Brenda.
