Brenda Miller Pyron

Ruffin: Brenda Miller Pyron, 67, of 955 Berry Hill Bridge Rd., went home to be with The Lord on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Rockingham County Hospice Home. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at 3:00 P.M., at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Dyer officiating. Burial will follow at Dan River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 2 - 3 P.M., at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home. Mrs. Pyron was born on December 19, 1950, in Rockingham County to the late Betty Lewis Miller and Benford Miller. She loved her family,especially her grandchildren. Along with her parents, Mrs. Pyron was preceded in death by her brothers, Benny Miller and Barry Miller. Survivors include her husband, Ernest Pyron, Jr.; her daughters, Tammy Pyron Vernon and Joanna Pyron Shelton and husband Shane; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn Shelton, Joshua Shelton and Destiny Vernon; her sisters, Barbara Miller Walker and Beverly Miller Barham; her fur babies, Puppy and Cassy and extended family. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Rockingham County for their excellent care of Brenda.
