Eden: Brian Keith Bailey, Sr. 49, of 106 South Fieldcrest Road died Friday, December 26, 2008 at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 29, 2008 at Mayfield Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Dyer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Brian was born in Rockingham County to Almeda Holley Byrd and the late Arnold Jackson Bailey, Sr. He was a mechanic and an electrician, a member of Mayfield Missionary Baptist Church and an avid muscle car enthusiast. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Bailey; son, Brian Keith “Doodle Bug” Bailey, Jr. and wife, Crystal; stepson, Kenneth Wayne Dickerson; daughters, Mickey Michelle Bailey, Jessica ”Jessie” Bailey; grandchildren, Chasity Blair Bailey, Brianna Leigh Bailey, Destiny Nicole Dickerson; mother, Almeda Holley Byrd; brothers, Arnold Jackson Bailey, Jr., Arnold Jackson “Punkin” Bailey, Jyles Creasey; niece, Chelstin Taylar Creasey; nephew, Robert Wesley Creasey; numerous cousins and extended family. The family will receive friends Sunday evening December 28th from 6-8 pm and other times at the residence.
