Brian Jordan Hatfield

Pelham: Brian Jordan Hatfield, 46, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Eggers officiating with a private inurnment following at a local cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and other times at his mother’s home. Brian was a native of Matewan, WV. He loved his family dearly and was especially fond of children, senior adults and animals. He was an avid Florida State football fan. Brian was preceded in death by his nephew, Shane Hatfield; his maternal grandparents, Ernest and Myrtle Hatfield; and great uncle, Charles Anderson. Brian is survived by his wife, Mary Hatfield; his daughter, Shelby Degroat both of the home; his mother, Judy Hatfield and husband, Bob Poston; sister, Pam Hatfield; brother, Mike Hatfield and wife, Debbie all of Ruffin; step sister, Kelly Green and husband, Garth of Reidsville; step brother, Scott Poston and wife, Kim of Leeds, AL; nephews, Cory Hatfield, Glenn, Brendan and Ellas Poston; special cousin, Kristi Hammond Holden; and a large extended family.
