Brian Haynes

Brian Haynes, 56, of 180 Michrob Lane, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Logan Haynes and Jeff Greenway offering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memory Gardens. The family will see friends on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home and other times at the home. Brian was born in Daytona Beach to the late Weaver and Verlie Shores Haynes. He was raised in Yadkin County and a graduate of Starmount High School. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and an employee with Carolina Tractor/ Carolina CAT. He was a devoted husband and father. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Metzger Haynes; daughter, Lindsey Kate Haynes; brothers, Gregg Haynes and Chris Haynes and Giny; nephews, Logan, Seth and Jake Haynes; sister-in-law, Bonnie Sloan and husband, Steve; nephew Caleb Sloan and many extended family members and special friends.
